Refund policy

At Decantor, we take great care in ensuring every customer receives high quality, authentic fragrance samples. Each of our perfume decants is individually hand- prepared using original, genuine fragrance.

Because every decant is a custom-made and personalised product ,we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds once the order has been processed and shipped. This policy protects product hygiene, authenticity, and customer safety.

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, cosmetic products are non-returnable and non-refundable once opened or used.

We accept returns only if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect upon delivery. In such cases, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at info@decantor.co.uk. We will offer a replacement or refund after verification.

All items must be returned unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

Please note that change of mind returns are not accepted for cosmetic or fragrance products.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

Please note that:

  • All fragrance decants and samples are final sale items .
  • Returns or refunds are not possible due to change of mind, personal scent preference, or perceived similarity/difference to other products.
  • Decants are not factory-sealed retail bottles, but authentic fragrances re-bottled in smaller, sterile atomizers for sampling purposes.
  • Once a decant has been filled, it cannot be resold or restocked for health and safety reasons.
  • Cosmetic and skincare products are non-returnable once opened or delivered for  hygiene and safety reasons. These items come into direct contact with the skin, and we cannot resell or restock them after they have left our controlled storage conditions. This rule ensures product safety, protects 

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders 

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@decantor.co.uk.

Include your order number and clear photos of the issue.

Our team will review your case and, if eligible, issue a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Lost or Delayed Orders 

We are not responsible for postal delays once an order has been dispatched. However, if your parcel is confirmed lost in transit , we will investigate with the carrier and provide a fair resolution in line with our Shipping Policy.

Customer Responsibility 

Before placing an order, please make sure you understand what a decant is - a custom-filled sample of an original fragrance, rebottled  from an authentic retail bottle into a smaller atomizer.
